Reacher Season 3 Episode 2 Ending Explained: How Does Jack Keep His Cover?

The episode reaches its most tense point when Jack is sent to make a delivery on a truck that belongs to Beck’s cover company. Following his instincts, Jack alerts the DEA to help him inspect the cargo without raising suspicion. However, when they check the container, they only find rugs, suggesting that Beck has contacts that allow him to move his shipments undetected. Jack returns with the truck and is greeted by Angel Doll, who has been following him closely and has become suspicious of him. Angel Doll realizes inconsistencies in Jack’s story and prepares to expose him to Duke, another of Beck’s trusted men. Jack, realizing that his cover is about to be discovered, reacts quickly and murders Angel Doll by nailing his head to a metal clipboard. Then, he hides the body and leaves the warehouse before Duke finds it.

Who is Really in Charge?

Throughout the episode, Jack receives several clues that Beck is not the true leader of the operation. Angel Doll mentions that there is someone “bigger” pulling the strings, making Jack suspect Quinn might be involved. Meanwhile, Duffy discovers that Beck’s merchandise is checked much less frequently than that of other traffickers, confirming that someone with a lot of power is protecting his shipments.
