Currently, Netflix’s new series ‘Black Warrant – Confessions of a Tihar Jailer’ is trending on social media. We have all seen prison films in our lives, which show how a prisoner is kept and how he is treated. Well, what is shown in films, no one knows what happens in real life. Only the jailed prisoners, jailers, and soldiers present can tell. But how about if you are shown how prisoners locked inside a prison live their lives? What troubles do a prison jailer and soldiers face? So, you can see and feel all this because recently a new series has been released on Netflix called ‘Black Warrant‘. How is this series? Sunil Kumar Gupta, who was working in Delhi’s Tihar jail, wrote a book six years ago with journalist Sunetra Chaudhary, “Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer”. The warrant turned out to be a conviction of confession i.e. crime swipe and Black Warrant mane hanging. There is a lot in the book that was surprising after reading whether Netflix would be able to show all the truth of this book in its series. Will he show what happened during the hanging of Afzal Guru? Will it show what Alok Verma, the CBI chief, fed ‘Gul’ and will he be able to show Netflix according to the true book of Mahfils in Sahara chief’s Tihar? But everything in the world now happens with the support of changing times. Blame-proven Trump is going to become President of America. Jael Singh, the then scholar of the Congress government, is coming to the Tihar jail for a special purpose while being a Grihamtri. There is also the slogan ‘India is Indira and Indira is India’ and an attempt to explain what went on in this largest prison in Asia during the Congress reign. Now that all this has stopped, there is no guarantee that I will not take this series but the interest in which ‘shows by choosing’ remains till then. There is no guarantee that these series do not take, but interest in what shows ‘by choosing’.
Black Warrant Review: The Story Plot
Netflix’s series ‘Black Warrant‘ is the story of Sunil Gupta, a former jailer in Delhi’s Tihar prison. Who has spent more than half his life there as a jailer? From the beginning of the series, Struggle is shown in Tihar prison. In which bikini killer Charles Shobhraj (Principal Gupta) keeps helping him. But his troubles increase DSP Rajesh Tomar (Rahul Bhatt) to some extent. Sunil Gupta also has two more companions Shivraj Singh Mangat (Paramveer Singh Chima) and Vipin Dahiya (Anurag Thakur). All three handle the Tihar prison. Three gangs in jail are in the name of Jat and Dharma. All of which have to be dealt with. Meanwhile, many dangerous prisoners are also hanged in jail, which jailer Sunil Gupta is looking for. The jailer has a lot of trouble in handling the environment of Tihar because there is corruption, bloodshed, and abuse. Web Series ‘Black Warrant’ Theatrical conversion of a book published by the same name is not at all. There is a lot that is not only in the book and there is not much sensation in the book which creates interest in watching these series. This is a series of seven episodes. Every episode averages around 40 minutes. The artist has been sorted by Vikramaditya Motwani. He has a special attachment to the children of the stars. This time Bari is the grandson of actor Shashi Kapoor, Jahan Kapoor. His father Kunal Kapoor did not walk much in Hindi cinema. But the son reveals that he has come in front of the camera to fix something. Kad Kathi is not like Jahan’s superstars, but the actress is in his rug rug. He is the deputy jailer of Tihar here. The artist has put all around him that Vikramaditya has not been able to dominate anyone’s earlier fame. Sunil Kumar Gupta, who wrote the ‘Black Warrant’, saw 14 fans in Tihar during his tenure. In the series, the focus is on the hanging of Ranga-Billa and Maqbool Bhat. The series does not show how Nirbhaya Kand’s convict died in Tihar. Subrat Rai Sahara does not show how his Mahfilen used to dress in jail when he was in jail. These stories may appear in the second season of the series. The series states that the executioners Kalu and Kabira’s Shohrat are like Dileep Kumar and Rajesh Khanna. Black Warrant Review and Analysis
Directors Vikramaditya Motwani and Satyanshu Singh promised to show the audience a story that perhaps everyone will be shaken from inside. Many of the scenes shown in this are inspired by real-life events, so presenting them on screen is a challenge in itself. Which both filmmakers have accomplished brilliantly. Many scenes in the series will introduce you to the truth inside the prison and create a fear of life there in your heart. It also shows a lot of bloodshed and Markat which shows that the filmmaker has left no stone unturned to show us the real life of prison. Its writing is also fantastic, all the scenes were written very well which makes it sound like an engagement. The suspense shown in it also works many times. Sunil Gupta’s book, the stories that were released under the same name is also shown on the screen. The series also shows you the lives of jailers and soldiers working in prison, and how they keep working in such a dangerous place without caring about their lives.
One thing about this series is very noticeable and that is its casting. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra once again appeared to be doing his job perfectly. Whichever actor he has chosen to play, all of them have played their role well. Jahan Kapoor, grandson of Legendary actor Shashi Kapoor and cousin of superstar Ranbir Kapoor, has done tremendous acting in this entire series. They do not let you feel like they are fading or overacting anywhere. The director met the demand for what was demanded by actor Rahul Bhatt. He did not let his character stray from the limelight and kept his screen presence great. The rest of the supporting actors Paramveer Singh Cheema and Anurag Thakur along with Jahan were also strong. He showed his acting range throughout the series and deserved praise. Actor Siddhant Gupta also charmed in the character of bikini killer Charles Shobhraj. Seeing them, it seemed as if Charles Shobhraj used to talk like this in his time. He drank his character as if he was stunned. A little correct, but the screen presence of the theory was also strong.
Three prison superintendents change throughout the series, assuming that he was responsible for some of the disturbances in Tihar. The jailer continued to work there, from selling blankets to stealing rations, and was on the job. Deputy jailer Sunil Kumar Gupta is a common man who is pained by the torture of prisoners. He is saddened by not getting a blanket and continues to improve prison administration and provide legal aid to prisoners. He is a strong hero in mind. Oda, like a jailer, does not physically match him with any corner and this is also the reason for watching this series. Vikramaditya Motwani composed the series in some way as he did with Soumik Sen in the web series ‘Jubilee’. It is to be noted here that if it is being promoted like a series of designs of ‘Sacred Games’, then abuses are plentiful here and the story of the wife of Hatte Katté Haryanvi deputy jailer and jailer is also.
There are many stories shown in the series that are not in the book. Satyanshu Singh and Arkesh Ajay have shown their full creative freedom in this and have run their famous horses in all four corners of Kalpana Lok. Both have also joined hands under the direction of Vikramaditya Motwani. There are five directors totaling seven episodes. And, the story goes to two more friends here, not just a deputy jailer. All three join the job on the same day and Sunil Kumar Gupta’s job seems to be due to the stylish Charles Shobhraj in Tihar. These undercurrents of each other continue until the last episode of the series and receive their epilogue by distributing laddus. Since Sunil is a Sharif boy, there are Anurag Thakur and Paramveer Singh Chima here to abuse. The three characters also have their own family stories that keep giving human stories to the stories going on within the prison.
Web Series ‘Black Warrant’ Despite all its flaws, it has become a watchable series because its authors have worked hard to create it. Satyanshu and Arkesh have done a great job of making the small character a memorable sequence. Seeing Rajendra Gupta at the outset, why he is doing this series but when his character reaches his graph, it makes sense that when it comes to the common man’s ‘reputation’, What passes on it? What a wonderful job he did in this character of Akoutant. Pratap Fad, Vinay Sharma, and Sukhwinder Chahal played the roles of the heads of the Tyagi, Bone, and Sardar gangs in Tihar jail and helped a lot in maintaining the series till the end. But, the real cast of the series has turned out to be Rahul Bhat. His screen presence is very impressive, and, in a way, he steals quite a few limelights from the web series ‘Black Warrant’.
Technically also the Web Series ‘Black Warrant’ is good. Tihar Jail may not resemble Tihar Jail and may resemble the setup of a closed factory in Bhopal, but production designer Mukund Gupta has prepared an impressive taunt on a limited budget. Shruti Kapoor has handled the costumes department well, especially Jahan Kapoor’s two-pocket shirt and his trousers are quite attractive. Vikram Dahiya’s action is impressive. Tanya Chhabria has an admitting slow, but the series shooting has been done with a lot of rest and a scene deposit, so they do not have much choice but to sort the thorn. Saumyanand Sahi has tried his best to capture the past of Delhi with his camera within the Golden Tobacco Factory of Bhopal and Mumbai. A special mention in the series also comes from casting director Mukesh Chhabra who has done very accurate casting for all the important characters.
Jahan Kapoor has put his life in the character of jailer Sunil Gupta, he is an amazing actor. The hesitation of a new novel officer, who is a prison officer but does not know how to abuse, his honesty, his innocence, his anger against the system, Jahan plays this character in such a way that you do not know Sunil Gupta but he You seem to be Sunil Gupta. Jahan Shashi is the grandson of Kapoor and the son of actor Kunal Kapoor and this lamp of the Kapoor family is also spreading its light in terms of acting. Rahul Bhat is the senior of these three junior officers and his work is amazing. He looks tremendous in this role, has gray shades in his character and his facial expressions are complete with his character. Paramveer Chima has also amazingly played his character. An officer who is having a struggle in their personal life too. Paramveer has full justice with this character. Anurag Thakur’s work is quite tremendous, a boy from Haryana becomes a jailer. Anurag has won hearts with his desi style, Siddhant Gupta Charles Shobhraj has become, and he is also shocked by his acting. Rajendra Gupta has done an amazing job, Rajshri Deshpande has played the role of a journalist well, and Parrot Roy Chaudhary also impresses.
If you are curious about life inside the prison and like to watch crime stories, then you will like this series. Its story dates back to the 1980s, showing what happened in Tihar prison. The series also shows the story of prisoners like Ranga and Billa, Makbul who were hanged in Tihar jail. It also shows the process of hanging which will make your tongue stand. Every episode of the series opens the unseen secrets of Tihar that you will enjoy watching. The length of the series is also fine according to the story due to which you will not be bored. From beginning to end, this series promises to keep you tied. It also has many funny prison stories that will make you think that all this used to happen in our jails earlier. The series shows a lot of fire, bloodshed, and abusive speech, due to which it is not right to see it with children. There are many scenes in it which would be better if not to see a person with a weak heart. Even if you don’t like watching a web series, you can skip watching it. This series is not like sitting with the whole family, some scenes can be strange to see you. Prisoners are hanged in the series which can have a mental impact on you.

Overall, if you want to know about Tihar Jail, then you can give this series a chance. The series opened with a great dilemma in front of many secret audiences in prison and the entire system. You will get to know all the truth inside the prison, and how the Tihar jail used to run in the 1980s. This series will not disappoint you at any turn. This web series has been made by Vikramaditya Motwani and Satyanshu Singh together. This series runs on the same track and every scene looks tight. The series has been made in a balanced manner. Unnecessary heroism has not been shown. Things have been kept real, and this is its specialty. Overall, this series is worth watching.
