Yellowjackets Season 3 Release Date: A Cryptic Teaser Reveals the Release Date
Yellowjackets Season 3 now has a release date: Showtime has revealed that the first two previously unreleased episodes will be available starting Sunday, February 16, sharing a new teaser. The video features a skull, and very short sequences related to the horrors experienced by the young protagonists in the woods. New cast members include Hilary Swank and Joel McHale, although the characters they will play have not been revealed yet. The story in the present should pick up from the death of Natalie, a character played by Juliette Lewis. In the past, however, Lottie declared that Natalie must be the new leader, and the girls, and Travis, must pay homage to the new Queen. That evening, however, a fire caused the survivors to flee the cabin. In the short film, darkly inspired by Valentine’s Day, you can also see some disturbing images taken from the next episodes of the story, although it doesn’t reveal much about the plot.
Yellowjackets Season 3 Release Date: The Series’ Return to the Screens!
The third season of Yellowjackets will see the debut of a new character played by Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank, who, if renewed, should return for the fourth installment. The ten unreleased episodes have suffered many delays and postponements due to the strikes that occurred in Hollywood in 2023, a situation that slowed down the work of the authors and the start of filming. We start this selection with Yellowjackets, a 2021 series that combines elements of drama, mystery, and suspense. The plot follows a women’s soccer team whose lives change radically after a plane crash leaves them stranded in a remote location. The narrative unfolds in two timelines: in the past, the struggle for survival in extreme conditions is shown, while in the present, the psychological after-effects and dark secrets that marked the survivors are explored.
