For his part, Daniel Wong was also sentenced to life in prison without parole for 25 years, while the men hired by Wong and Pan, David Mylvaganam and Lenford Crawford, received the same sentence, and Eric Carty, the third of the assailants, received an 18-year sentence but died in prison in 2018.
