John Wick 4: Shooting Started Here Is The Official Announcement and Photo
A new image published by actor Shamier Anderson on Instagram, later made official by the franchise, confirms that the cameras are already shooting ‘John Wick 4’ , with less than eleven months to go before the action sequel hits theaters. Keanu Reeves will once again play the sharp assassin, this time punching and shooting his way through the criminal underworld of Berlin, Paris, Japan and then back to the base of the saga, in New York .
Chad Stahelski is directing again, having co-directed the first installment with David Leitch before working solo on the second and third. However, regular screenwriter Derek Kolstad is not involved this time, and the scripts fall to Shay Hatten from ‘Army of the Dead’ and Michael Finch from ‘American Assassin’.
Little is known about the next installment, but if we draw on John Wick’s trajectory thus far, presumably we’ll discover even more about the complex mythology that defines the secret network of assassins that spans the globe, with a series of intricate hand-to-hand combat and plenty of elegant gunfights. Franchise veteran Ian McShane has confirmed his return as ‘Winston’, while Laurence Fishburne will reprise his ‘Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ role as the ‘King Bowery’.
New Cast Added
The new additions to the cast include Shamier Anderson , to which we have recently seen in the title sci-fi for Netflix , ‘Stowaway ‘; and who will be joined by Rina Sawayam and Bill Skarsgård . The antagonists will be the always reliable Hiroyuki Sanada and martial arts legend Donnie Yen .
