Sex Education Season 1-4: The Recommended Age For Children To Watch The Netflix Series

Sex Education is the Netflix teen comedy series of the moment; the recommended age for children to see the show is 14 years old and up. The series talks about unfettered sexuality and, in recent years, has turned into a real phenomenon for the streaming giant. Thanks to the themes covered, the evolution of the characters and beloved actors, and colorful locations, Sex Education has established itself as one of the Netflix series most loved by teenagers. The story of the show’s first season begins when Otis (Asa Butterfield), the insecure son of a sexologist, and Maeve (Emma Mackey), a rebel, high school friends at Mordale High School, decide to start a makeshift sex counseling clinic in their high school. Between revealed love affairs and others kept secret, the boys will get up to all sorts of things and come to terms with the “monstrous” hormones of their adolescence.

In the second season, Otis, who has finally blossomed, albeit a little belatedly, must learn to master his newly emerged sexual impulses to continue his relationship with his girlfriend Ola, while trying to manage his conflicting relationship with Maeve. In the third season of the show, a new quarter begins. Moordale Secondary School welcomes Hope Haddon as its new principal, who promises to get the school back on track. Otis tries to keep casual sex with Ruby a secret and discovers that a “Sex King” is giving fraudulent sex advice in abandoned bathrooms.

At the end of this season, Otis confesses his love to Maeve who, however, has to leave for the United States for reasons related to her university career. The last season of the show (we talked about it in ours review of Sex Education Season 4) was released yesterday on Netflix and shows a significant evolution of the main characters, who must understand what to do with their lives. The performers of Sex Education include Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Alistair Petrie, Aimee Lou Wood, Mimi Keene, Patricia Allison, Jemima Kirke, Jason Isaacs, Stephen Fry, Dan Levy and numerous other actors and actresses.
