Blue Beetle: Critics Review and Reactions Out New DC Universe Cinecomic is Loudly Praised!

Blue Beetle caused quite a stir among critics, generating rave reviews ahead of its theatrical release. A week after the release of the cinecomic in international cinemas, the first online reactions of some spectators who have had the opportunity to see the film have been made available. The response? By 1966, Ted Kord, a student of Garrett’s, carried on his legacy and fought crime (although he had no superpowers). It was not until 2006 that DC introduced Jaime Reyes as the Blue Beetle, with never-before-revealed details such as his alien origin. When Kord dies, the scarab gives Reyes powers and provides him with armor that helps him fight crime and uphold the legacy of his ancestors.

Although Blue Beetle is not yet in movie theaters, some lucky ones have already been able to see its premiere and for this reason, the first criticisms have begun to emerge. Among them, some point out that the film has very good action scenes, while for some others, there is an excess of humor in the tone. The early positive reviews mirror the encouraging social media reaction Blue Beetle received last April following the release of its first official trailer. The film sees Reyes and his Mexican American family as the central character, a recent Palmera City graduate, who is chosen to become a symbiotic host of the Scarab, an ancient alien relic that grants him powerful exoskeletal armor to transform him into the Blue Beetle. Although a superhero film, Blue Beetle is not about saving the world, according to director Angel Manuel Soto, it is more about the journey of the protagonist and his family.
