What’s The Story About
This is the story of Sunanda (Nina Kulkarni) i.e. mother. She is survived by her mother and her husband. After the marriage of the daughter, Mai is busy with their daily chores. But one day the wife of the husband’s friend dies. Mai and her husband go to their funeral. Where the relatives do not get the photo of the deceased. This is where the original theme of the film begins. Not only that, but seeing the childhood photo of the deceased wearing a garland of flowers, my mother had a different feeling. Feeling we have ‘Run out of gas’ emotionally, we begin to think about ourselves. The new journey of taking a good photo of oneself starts from a mother who has been running away from taking photos since childhood, who is afraid of taking photos and has no good photos.
Aditya Rathi and Gayatri Patil have portrayed this journey of my mother through their writings. The details of the screenplay are astounding which bring a variety of interesting twists to the film. This journey from beginning to end engages the story. There are no complications. Directing has the power to create abnormalities from ordinary situations. Aditya Rathi Gayatri Patil is the new director. His direct influence is felt even in simple straightforward scenes. The humorous scenes done in a beautiful and beautiful manner are striking in this film.
Review and Performance
Actress Nina Kulkarni, who is well versed in acting, has literally made her mother’s role golden. When a housewife who doesn’t think much about herself thinks of taking a photo of herself, she easily conveys the details of this feeling from the character of this film. He has also presented his mother’s abolitionist behavior very well. Nina Kulkarni has taken on this responsibility as it is a story revolving around a single character in the entire film, which is why we get lost in this whole journey of Mai.
The other roles in this film are also well done by the actors. Chaitrali Rode attracts attention in the role of a maid. The characters played by Amita Khopkar, Vikas Hande, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Samay Tambe, Ashwini Mukadam, Vitthal Gaonkar, Nilkanth Sawant are short in the film but they are effective in those places.
The film manages to entertain as well as inform. Kedar Phadke’s easily beautiful cinematography is similar to the film. Kaushal Inamdar’s music and Vaibhav Joshi’s songs bring a lot of fun in this film. The catchy songs of the film catch the attention. The film has Saurabh Bhalerao’s background score. Which could have been done better, which would have made the scene more open. B. The work of editors Mahantesh and Rohan Vijay Sarode is good. But it could have worked with a few nuances in mind.
