Two years have passed since the final events of the first season of Invisible City, Luna (Manu Dieguez) and la Cuca (Alessandra Negrini) have embarked on a journey in search of Eric (Marco Pigossi), guided by the girl’s premonitory dreams. The two want to find him and try to bring him back to life, after he has been swept away by the waters to which, as an entity, he belongs. Luna’s dreams lead them to Belém do Pará, a city in northern Brazil adjacent to large natural reserves.

An ancient territory, full of stories, entities, and above all of the great power: it is in the forests of that region that a magical and mysterious city is hidden, Marangatù, a refuge for the creatures of the area. A refuge that is practically inaccessible and that they want to defend at all costs, but which is perhaps the place where Eric himself was dragged by the waters. It’s not just Luna and la Cuca who are interested in entering it, a group of entities and unscrupulous men, a family that owns several illegal mines, would like an access key to Marangatù because if the legend is true there are hidden huge amounts of gold.

Invisible City Season 2 Ending: Who is Deborah Castro?

Luna is on the verge of death and Ines tries to provide a way to save her immediately. She meets Jaciara, a powerful sorceress from a tribe. The sorceress asks Eric to leave the place to start Luna’s healing process. Impatient, Eric begins to manifest an evil entity in his body. Luna is healed, but Ines runs away with the girl. Eric begins to realize that he is losing control over himself and decides to go after his daughter. On the way, he meets Bento and Lazo and asks if they know about their daughter’s whereabouts. The two say no, but Eric drains Bento and Lazo’s powers and discovers that Luna and Ines are going to Marangatu. Ines uses her powers to discover that Eric is uncontrollable. Ines and Luna break up and Ines goes to Eric. She uses her psychic powers to justify why Luna was brought to the tribe. She explains that Debora and Luna have their paths joined by the entities. Matinta and Jaciara warned about this.

Finally, Ines shows herself as an ally of Eric. Eric realizes this and looks for Jaciara to free himself from the evil entities. He returns to himself, with the mission to continue being a guardian of the forest. To fulfill his mission, the spirits guide him away from Luna. Luna resists Eric’s decision, but Jaciara tries to convince her that this is the best thing to do. He sacrifices his life and releases all the powers he had absorbed, as well as realigns the natural order of the indigenous entities. With this, Lazo and Bento regain their powers and arrange for Castro’s arrest. He is tried and sentenced for several environmental crimes.
