The Marvels: Here Is The First Poster with Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau
Marvel Studios has released a new poster for The Marvels movie — starring Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan — announcing the film’s new release date of November 10, 2023. The trailer for The Marvels was originally thought to be released during the Super Bowl last Sunday, but that was not the case: the film’s release was even delayed by four months. The sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel sees Brie Larson return to her role as Captain Marvel, but she will also be joined by two other MCU superheroes: Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. Teyonah Parris made her MCU debut as Monica Rambeau in WandaVision, where her character gained her powers by infiltrating a city under the control of the Scarlet Witch. Iman Vellani instead had her own Disney+ show, Ms. Marvel, which followed Kamala’s origin story.

The Marvels poster and caption also reveal the film’s tagline, which echoes that of the first Captain Marvel: “Further. Farther. Faster. Together”. Additionally, the studio pushed back The Marvels release date by about four months, moving the film from July 28 to November 10. While all three characters featured in The Marvels movie poster have already been seen in the MCU, this poster reveals two new costumes. Captain Marvel’s costume was revealed in the post-credits scene of the Ms. Marvel finale, which featured Kamala swapping places with Carol. The costume has shorter sleeves and a simpler, more elegant look than the one worn by Brie Larson in Avengers: Endgame.
As for Monica Rambeau, the woman changes the SWORD suit she wore in WandaVision for a real superhero costume. She is different from the comic counterpart of the character but fits perfectly with the other superheroes of the MCU, with a predominantly black body suit with white details. Monica Rambeau’s costume also has a symbol in the center of the chest, even if it doesn’t have the same star shape. Additionally, Kamala has a different costume, featuring a darker blue and more detailing on both her arms and legs.
