Stranger Things Season 5: Will Mike Die in The Final Season?

Finn Wolfhard has answered a couple of questions from fans regarding Stranger Things 5 . In particular, there was the question of whether Mike will die in the final season of the Netflix show. In a video for GQ, the actor answers fans’ questions using all social networks as a reference, for the magazine’s “Actually Me” column. To the question: “Do you think Mike will die in season 5?” Wolfhard replies: “I hope not. You know what, I don’t know. It depends on when. If it’s one of those things that has to happen at the beginning of the season, the so-called cold open, no. Instead, in the last episode, Mike saves everyone, and everyone praises him and toasts this enterprise, it could be there, maybe. But I don’t think it will. Maybe I should ask the Duffer brothers, I’d like to know if I’ll have a job next year.”

In the video, the actor lets go of other comments on the season and his experience on the set. He mainly remembers funny anecdotes about him: filming in the desert at 40 degrees with Noah Schnapp and Charlie Heaton. Among Wolfhard’s latest statements, there was one regarding a possible sixth season of Stranger Things. However, the actor said he was against it:It would honestly be ridiculous if Stranger Things lasted longer than five seasons and I think the Duffer brothers get that. I guess they have a perfect ending for season 5 in mind. We didn’t even know if we’d make it past Season 2, but we’re glad the fans supported us and keep watching. I cannot wait. The fourth season was great in terms of content, but I would like the last season to bring a return to the dynamics of the first. And I hope we will have a worthy ending for each character so that fans can feel satisfied“.

Having said that, Stranger Things will officially end with a fifth season which, among other things, will perhaps be the forerunner of some possible spin-offs, as pointed out by the creators of the work themselves. Until now, however, we have not yet had a certain date for the start of production on the final season and although fans are eagerly waiting, it seems that for now, nothing is moving. In the last few hours, however, a detail has emerged that should not be underestimated: the actor Noah Schnapp (Bridge of spies, Waiting for Anya), in fact, in a direct Instagram (as reported by Screen Rant) explained that the production should start at the beginning of May so that it does not interfere with his school commitments.
