Heartstopper Season 2: Coming to Netflix in 2023

Heartstopper’s first year introduced audiences to young Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke). Openly gay, Charlie is a shy boy without many friends. Nick, on the other hand, is a rugby player and although popular, he has a huge heart. The two start getting closer as they start to sit together in the classroom and begin to develop a growing passion that ends up becoming love. In the second year, however, fans already have a prelude of what will happen, as the production adapts the Alice Oseman comics. The entry of David Nelson, Nick’s older brother, will leave the atmosphere tense since the man will not accept his brother’s sexuality so well.

Finally, a success among all audiences, Heartstopper was also a critical success. The second season, although it does not have a precise date, will arrive on Netflix in 2023. Heartstopper follows a story of discovery and self-acceptance in a sensitive way. The plot revolves around Charlie (Joe Locke), a 15-year-old teenager who, after being “outed out of the closet” against his will, is bullied by school students. Charlie ends up meeting Nick (Kit Connor), an older boy, popular and a star of the Rugby team, but who, unlike other sportsmen, does not treat his colleague badly and ends up creating a connection with Charlie. And who knows, maybe even something else.
