Netflix has advanced its Christmas gifts for fans, and it has just confirmed the release date of Shadow and Bone Season 2, the successful series released in 2021 and based on the books by Leigh Bardugo. Followers of this adaptation were waiting impatiently for news about their favorite title, and after a long wait, they can now rest easy: Hand in hand with a tweet that includes some images for the next installment of the series, Netflix announced that the second cycle of Shadow and Bone will be released on March 16, 2023.
It may seem like a lot, but we are just about to say goodbye to 2022 and three months are flying by. Also, considering that filming ended around August of this year, the fact that it hits Netflix in March is great news, because it could have taken much longer. Shadow and Bone Season 2: What We Know So Far
In March we will receive 8 episodes in total and each one will last approximately 1 hour. The story will mainly follow the second book of the Shadow and Bone trilogy called Siege and Storm, and in these chapters, we will see Alina and Mal recruit allies to fight against Kirigan and start a journey across the continent to get hold of two magical creatures that they could increase her powers and thus face the Dark One.
Meanwhile, the Ravens will continue to fight for their lives, they will have to find new partners, and they will have to face old rivals and resentments that will jeopardize their future.
