The Witcher: Blood Origin: The Actors and Characters Explained In Detail

The Witcher: Blood Origin expands the world of The Witcher by taking a trip to the past, to understand more of what Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill’s character) is by showing the moment in which the first Witcher appears in history. The Henry Cavill series begins in the middle of the war, when Geralt must meet a princess who holds the key to saving the world and when a powerful witch tries to discover his destiny. Blood Origin takes place many years before those events (about 1,200 years before) when the Elf civilization still existed and was at its peak.

We are not going to see anything about Geralt in this story, but we are going to meet some of his ancestors and a series of characters who played a key role during a decisive moment in the history of humanity. The synopsis says it’s “a tale lost in time: it explores the creation of the first Witcher prototype and the events leading up to the ultimate Conjunction of the Spheres when the worlds of monsters, men and elves merged to become one.” one”.

Blood Origin opens on December 25 and shows how the kingdom of the elves was destroyed by men and monsters, and there are several important characters that you have to get to know a little before you see what happens.

The Main Characters of The Witcher: Blood Origin

Michelle Yeoh is Scian

The protagonist of Everything Everywhere All At Once is at the center of this new story. Yeoh, who also appears in  Memoirs of a Geisha and Crazy Rich Asians, plays Sician, who is the last survivor of a nomadic tribe of elves, in the tribe they were masters of the sword, so Scian is a skilled and powerful warrior, who is on a mission to recover a mysterious lost sword that was stolen from his tribe long ago.

Laurence O’Faurian is Fjall

Fjall’s character is a female warrior sworn to serve the king, which is something her clansmen often do. He is carrying the trauma of losing someone in battle and it leads him to try to redeem himself and pay off the debt he believes he owes, so he joins a series of warriors in a deadly fight. O’Faurian appeared before in series like Game of Thrones (as Simpson) and Vikings (as Hakon) and now he is one of the most important characters in this story.
