Copenhagen Cowboy is the title of the TV series by Nicolas Winding Refn made for Netflix, which was presented at the Venice International Film Festival, and which will arrive on January 5, 2023, on the streaming platform worldwide. In recent months, Variety has anticipated some themes of the Winding Refn series after his experience with Prime Video for Too Old to Die, Young, his first TV series.

As the American site explained, Copenhagen Cowboy was born during the pandemic, which broke out while the director was ready to leave to shoot a new film, and instead found himself stuck in Denmark with his family.
