Hellbound Season 2 Will Return to Netflix
The series which arrived on the streaming platform after the success of Squid Game – presents a hypothetical apocalyptic scenario, with dark angels in search of predestined or near-death human beings. Hellbound is a story of eternal damned and spirits hungry for tormented and trapped spirits on our planet, with a sharp and brutal critique of today’s society.
The first season of Hellbound, consisting of 6 episodes, arrived on Netflix in November 2021. At the moment, season 2 does not yet have an official release date and not even a plot and a confirmed cast. In the first season, we saw a quiet town in South Korea that is suddenly thrown into chaos due to a surreal phenomenon. Thus began the birth of a new order, a religion of fanatics, whose job is to make atonement for sins, but will it be like that? The protagonists of the first season (of which you can read the review) are Yoo Ah-in (#Alive) and Kim Hyun-joo. For those wishing to deepen the story, the manga series consists of 2 volumes and is currently being published in Italy by Panini Comics.
